High speed, low cost line scan technology featured at Japan's ITE 2014

Tokyo, Japan – November 26, 2014 - Teledyne DALSA, a Teledyne Technologies company and global leader in machine vision technology, will showcase their Linea™ series of low cost, high performance line scan cameras at the International Technical Exhibition on Image Technology and Equipment 2014 (ITE Japan 2014) in booth DS-01. The show takes place from December 3-5, 2014 at the Pacifico Yokohama in Yokohama, Japan.

In addition to the Linea series, Teledyne DALSA will demonstrate its Piranha4™ multispectral quadlinear camera, the feature rich Genie™ TS 5M camera, and will preview the Piranha™ XL multi-line CMOS TDI camera with the Xtium™ CLHS frame grabber.

An overview follows:

  • The Linea series is comprised of feature rich, high value CMOS line scan cameras in 2, 4 and 8k resolutions with a Camera Link® interface today, and GigE Vision models available soon.
  • Teledyne DALSA’s Piranha4 Multispectral Quadlinear camera. RGB, plus Near Infrared (NIR) output, delivers the highest line rates in the industry with outstanding signal-to-noise performance.
  • The Genie TS series now includes a 5 Megapixel model that can reach speeds of up to 51 frames per second in fast model.
  • The Piranha XL multi-line CMOS TDI camera and the Xtium CLHS-PX4 frame grabber are among a growing number of new cameras and frame grabbers engineered to take advantage of the new CLHS interface standard.
