DALSA's 4M60 SA signals a new generation of "Stop Action" area scan technology offering developers traditional DALSA performance with significantly lower deployment costs. Delivering 62 frames per second at full four megapixel (2352 x 1728) resolution in 8 or 10 bits through a Medium Camera Link interface, the 4M60 SA provides unprecedented area scan performance. Based on DALSA's own patented CMOS image sensor technology, the 4M60 offers 7.4 µm square pixels, 1000x antiblooming and global (non-rolling) shuttering for high-speed "Stop Action" imaging. This global shutter eliminates image smearing or time displacement artifacts associated with full frame, frame transfer, or rolling shutter cameras.

The 4M60's advanced design offers concurrent integration and readout, built-in diagnostics, and programmable control of gain, offset, and exposure as well as per-pixel flat field correction to compensate for any variations in illumination, lens, or sensor response.

With vertical windowing for even higher frame rates, the 4M60 SA is ideal for automated electronics and semiconductor inspection, intelligent traffic systems, and general machine vision.
