Developed for error-proofing applications, BOA Spot offers integrated lighting, lens cover, easy-to-use software, and easy integration with factory systems. BOA Spot vision sensors offer much more flexibility than traditional sensors for performing quality checks and eliminates the need for expensive fixturing by automatically compensating for part position variation.
Embedded vision tools for part locating, feature finding, counting and measuring applications, offer a simple graphic user interface can be combined and used numerous times to solve simple or complex inspection tasks. Inspections using BOA Spot can be triggered by parts in motion or from a PLC after being moved into a stationary position. Standard factory protocols, such as Ethernet/IP and PROFINET are directly supported for communicating with 3rd party equipment or the factory enterprise.
