WATERLOO, Ontario – May 31, 2018 – Teledyne DALSA, and Teledyne e2v, both Teledyne Technologies companies, will co-exhibit at Eurosatory 2018. Teledyne DALSA will showcase its Calibir™ series of uncooled LWIR cameras, and Teledyne e2v RF Power will showcase its target deactivation technology, RF Safe-Stop. Eurosatory is an international forum focused on the future of Defense and Security, taking place in Paris, France from June 11-15. Both companies will exhibit in Hall 5A booth #ED741.

Teledyne DALSA’s Calibir™ series of uncooled LWIR cameras deliver excellent shutterless imaging performance. Calibir models are offered with an optional mechanical shutter, to overcome specific challenging conditions. Their low weight and compact form factor of 29mm x 29mm makes them well-suited for integration into tight spaces for confined and low profile solutions. These new models feature PTP (IEEE 1588) which allows for exact synchronization of multiple cameras in visible and IR spectrums, and an ITAR-free platform supports a variety of interfaces and lenses with state-of-the-art on-board processing features to satisfy many applications, including thermal night vision, perimeter and object security, Search and Rescue (SAR), and unmanned vehicle applications (e.g. robotics, UAVs).

Teledyne e2v RF Power will highlight its RF Safe-Stop, which is a target deactivation technology. This non-contact jamming system is capable of bringing moving targets across land, sea and air to a controlled stop at a safe distance, without collateral damage. This technology offers directed, narrow-band stopping capabilities across S and L bands respectively— at up to 400m distance for counter-UAVs, up to 50m for armored and civil patrol vehicles, and ranges in excess of 50m for lightweight patrol boat applications over water.
