Teledyne DALSA is proud to have received a 2013 Bell Award of Excellence from the Armand Frappier Foundation, one of four awards presented at the Foundation’s Garden Party benefit gala on June 13.
The winners were selected by a scientific committee chaired by Richard Cloutier, President and CEO of the Québec Centre for the Development of Biotechnology. Teledyne DALSA was honoured with the Telecommunications, Energy, and Nanoscience award. Recycling ÉcoSolutions received the the environment award, the Center for Advanced Research in Sleep Medicine at the Centre de recherche de l'Hôpital du Sacré-Cœur de Montréal received the health advances award, and the award for social sciences went to the regional council for the prevention of school dropouts in Saguenay-Lac-St-Jean (CRÉPAS).
The Armand-Frappier Foundation is a non-profit organization that actively contributes to the advancement and excellence of research at the Université INRS (Institut national de la recherche scientifique). The Foundation supports research to find practical solutions to issues facing society and change the world.
