SANTA CLARA, California – February 11, 2016 - Teledyne DALSA, a Teledyne Technologies company and global leader in digital X-ray imaging technology, will showcase its Shad-o-Box™ HS and Rad-icon™ industrial X-ray detectors at the Nondestructive Testing Management Association’s  Annual Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada from February 16-18th. 

 

Teledyne DALSA’s large format CMOS X-Ray detectors deliver a unique combination of high resolution and fast, real-time imaging, and are suitable for industrial x-ray inspection, scientific imaging, and non-destructive testing, including weld, wire bond and printed circuit board (PCB) inspection.  Co-located within stand 63, Teledyne ICM will showcase their new CP Series of X-Ray generators.

 

Of particular interest to conference attendees will be the new Shad-o-Box 3K HS and Shad-o-Box 6K HS single-tile CMOS detectors with a high-resolution Cesium Iodide (CsI) optical stack developed specifically for NDT applications in the 80-225 kVp energy range. The new detectors feature an active area of 114 x 64 mm and 114 x 146 mm respectively, a 49.5 micron pixel size, and deliver superb image contrast and resolution for demanding applications like weld inspection. A built-in Gigabit Ethernet interface supports real-time frame rates of up to 22 fps.
